03 January 2012. As the storm passed through I thought I would go out and see what damage there was, if any. And, see what the sea state was like although I was not expecting the sea to be too dramatic as the storm did not coincide with high tide. I did not expect to see a tree being blown into the road. This is often a very busy junction at the junction of West Lane and Hayling Road, in Hayling Island. Lucky it did not resulted in casualties.
