I picked up a Canon Rebel XS because it was $350. It is worth it in my opinion because it was brand new and has 10 megapixels.

Just bought a Rebel XT/350D with stock 18-55mm lens today at a pawn shop for $180 out the door. It's in nice shape and works well. Looks like the basic XT kit sells for around $200-$250 used on Ebay... so I can't complain.

@drdrummerdude The EOS Rebel XT/350D Goes for around $300-$500 with most Normal Kit Lenses, Strap, Battery.
