  • For English speaking people, they tested both fyrers. With Tefal you need to fry the fries for about 40 minutes, with Philips about 18 minutes. However, the fries were not ready yet after the 25 minutes, and in the end it also took about 40 minutes with the Philips fryer. The color of the fries of the Tefal was the best in the end, and they were crispy as well. Also with Tefal you can fry 1.5 kilo fries, and with Philips only 0.8 kilo.

Thus, no oil change anymore, but you've to wait 40 minutes..

  • Thank you for the test but I'm french and I don't understand.... :-)

For you, which is that which makes best fries: Actifry or Airfryer ?

    Thank you for your answer

  • @MrLucky78 I think theres a difference between maybe 1 litre of oil or just a spoonful. I guess with a bit of oil its just tastier.

  • @oFrauausSeideo yes lol i know that but the purpose behind the airfryer is to cook healthier fries , again what's the point if you intend of adding oil? just fry it then lol....

  • @MrLucky78 With oil you can get some taste into the fries. Fat (oil) is a flavour carrier.

  • looks more like BAKED then fried.

  • why is this in my fav?

  • one more thing, though I can't understand what you're saying they're both airfryers so why are you adding the oil for??? for they get done faster? I think it would only serve to slow the process down because the hot air would not get the oil hot enough to help any...

well thats my opinion without any facts lol
