Big Rooster was a Queensland icon before Red Rooster bought them out in early 1992. The food and service was never the same! Apologies for the poor audio quality.

how come i havnt seen Big rooster ads anymore since the 90s? theres a big rooster restaurant at mt gravatt corner of mt gravatt lookout.

@VOXS2 It would be an independant. Big Rooster was bought by Red Rooster in 1991.

And by the way KFC.. i remember in the 90s they used to called it (Kanturky fried chicken) rather then KFC. But know days its just KFC so its interesting how they used to called it that in australia considering kanturky is a usa state if not mistaken.

@digitaldanmartin Yes but big rooster still exsist. I mean theres one that i know at mt gravatt. And its a large solo restaurant. Though i have a feeling the place looks old and getting out of date so im guesing they might take the restaurant off soon by the looks of it. Just looks like 1991 area with no change. hehe aniways i havnt seen comemrcials of red rooster since like early 90s If thy want to make business they should advertice commercials on television right ?

I did a Big Rooster commercial when I was little so wish I could find it - set at a kids party... "What's the time Mr Wolf" - It's Big Rooster time!!!

Red Rooster in Stanthorpe QLD has the best food of any franchise store. ( or owned store for that matter )

I like Red Rooster food from Stanthorpe QLD as it is always cooked perfect and fresh.
