This music video is a modern adaptation of the story of Genji and his beloved woman, Murasaki. It traces the basic plot from Genji's initial encounter with young Murasaki(8 yrs old) to the abduction and education of her, to Genji's proposal to Murasaki, then to the couples forced separation, and lastly, to Murasaki's death before her wish was granted by Genji (in the original story it's to become a nun). Though after her death, Genji finished her wish.

Genji and Murasaki's love deserves to live beyond the discolored pages of the storybook.

And now, retold across space and time,
one thousand years later...
