  • Amazing....

  • @albatross111 -Andy Summers from the Police is a severly under-rated guitarist. He is really versitile and unique.

He is also in the top 5 in my list!!!

    Matt.

  • Eric Johnson uses this technique alot!

  • wooooaah, I'm sorry buddy, I used to admire Kirk Hammett when I was a lot younger, but there are sooo many better guitarists than him, and fyi Shawn Lane is one of the best guitarists ever imo, - listen to gray pianos flying. That and no matter what style your playing, diversity in tone colour using this technique can be so effective, whether its metal or jazz.

  • metal is very well know for having a distinct and constant sound so it is stupid to say kirk hammet doesn't use it because he wouldn't, and also shawn lane may be a better song writer but he is definitely not a better guitarist, and even if he is it is by very little.

  • I'm referring to all the average electric guitarists like kirk hammett and others who just play 1 way. Obviously GOOD guitarists like shawn lane and guthrie govan use this already. Maybe you should have actually checked my profile before making your 'assumptions'.... douchebag

  • finally see this? this is the first time you've seen this? your like 12 yearsold i know it. but then that means you dont know much about classical guitar either.

  • first chord is 079, then 879, then 779

starting from low e to the d
