simular to the 10.2 Warm sounding, not to my taste i have to say. To be honest you could power these with 30watt per channel but you wouldnt want to. Personaly i would think, what? why? how? and wtf were you thinking?...... The more power the better!!

Dudeski, 'bass' is pronounced 'base' in English, not 'bahs', and 'bi-wired' is pronounced 'bye-wired', not 'bee-wired'. Lastly, it's gold-PLATED, not goldEN-coated. Interesting review, but I have to ask why you would recommend 100 Watts of amp power as the cure to their dullness? You never said whether you actually tried a more powerful amp with them and if this cured their apparent lack of top end, and it sounds like you haven't, so why do you believe this without trying out your own advice?
Hello Titanhearth.
I own these speakers for a few months and they are driven by a cheap Yama amp. So i'm not satisfied with their sound at all (dull is the word that comes first). What amp do you recommend for them ? Also i don't understand how much minimum power you said is required to drive these speakers. Thanks.

@jeffbeck70 Hello. Try NAD amplifiers. They are lot more powerfull than other amps at similar price range. They are ugly as hell, but they work well with 9.2. Try C355BEE, I'm sure it will drive them well. And for "brighter" and less bass boost, use silver speaker cables, like QED Silver Anniversary XT. They are not expencive and they sound awesome.

Ok, first of all, I never said that 9.2 sounds bad. They sound good for the money, but not amazing. Lets take Monitor Audio BR2 - same price as Wharfedale 9.2 in EU... now that thing sounds amazing for the money. Not to mention an extra 100 Euros for Monitor Audio RS1 (witch I will do a review soon), now that speakers sounds fucking amazing for the money. And hey: you can drive them with a 30 watt amp :) For 9.2 you dont need a quality amp, but an amp with enough power reserves to drive them.
