  • or vegetarian?

  • Its tricky to say as there are lots of recipes out there. Some homemade fondants typically called "rolled fondant" are made with gelatin so this wouldn't be veggie friendly. Other fondants "european fondant" as its typically referred are made with glucose, water and sugar, or sugar, water, and corn syrup. These would be vegan and this is usually what trained pastry chefs would make. Both Wilton Fondant and Satin Ice (tastes best) are vegan to my understanding.

  • Very nice video...I never thought about my self making cakes and stuff like that but with this idea, now I can decorate the cakes real neat...I know how to draw roses but never tried making a 3d one...I'll show u some when I make them...have a great day...

  • hahah pause it at 2:58 lol btw great flower

  • make more videos

  • Finally- a user-friendly, not so intimidating video, where you don't need a bunch of tools or expertise to make the flowers! A great presentation too, though I'm also pretty sure fondre means melt. Like fondue- melted cheese- is the past tense of fondre. I think fold is plier. But this is totally not the focus of my comment. LOVE the video!

  • Hi, as far as I know fondant/ fondre means "melt" not " fold". :-)

    good instruction, though!
