Yeah you're right, us Australians are totally responsible for the name... it's not like word kombi is short for "Kombinationskraftwagen", the GERMAN word for "combination vehicle". Moron. And those stupid words you're referring to are actually translations from the Aboriginal language, you might want to use your brain and not your mouth so much.

I second all of these comments, a Kombi or type 23 van, but this was actually a type 21 Panelvan originally bit of a shame to have turned it into a Kombi considering panel vans are way cooler. it had already had windows cut into it before the restoration mind you.

second, Kombi was an actual VW term. It ment the VW bus that had one less window in the back.
