  • Just magnificient! A voice of course, but a lot for emotion in this singing. Thanks for posting this.

  • Just incredible! I can't imagine this aria more beautifully sung than this either! Thanks for posting.

  • Beautifull music!

    Thank you very much.

  • BELLISSIMO VOCE!!!

  • Spinosi insists on taking this aria at lightning speed, and this comes at the detriment of the flute, that sounds really rushed in its solos, and even at the voice that sometimes should need a more relaxing tempo to be really expressive.

I don't really like too much Cencic's voice in this aria, the color just doesn't fit (to my ears, of course). And it does not seem to be too much at ease, even if the virtuoso qualities of Cencic are well renowned.

  • @cioccolateria I find nothing unpleasant about this interpretation - and although I enjoy Jaroussky's purity of tone, his lack of emotion is often quite disturbing to me. Cencic's performance here has me melt with the intensity of his feeling. Opera is not about perfect voices, opera is about emotion. Cencic definitely has my vote.

  • @hzk32 I'm not blinded, I just don't appreciate Scholl's voice AS MUCH AS Jaroussky's.

  • @cuicuimusic That might be true but it doesn't change the fact that Cencić's voice has no beautiful colour/timbre and less volume and firmness than Jaroussky.

  • @cioccolateria unpleasant, it's your opinion but artificial? cencic to my knowledge is one of the rare countertenor to sing like a "real" mezzo, using his chest with a LOT of success, that is with perfect blend and without shying away from it. anyhoo

  • @cioccolateria

Really? No one? Not even Scholl or Kowalsky?

This is why I do not like 'fans' they are always blinded by their idol :-(

  • just the best !
