  • Man, you gotta use downpicking throughout. It's how true metal heads do it. Other than that. Good cover.

  • @mactavishc i only didn't in the intro chords.. I don't kow how james usually plays them, but if you like i will play them all downpicking, that's the easiest part :) The rest was all downpicking, inlcuding the "solos". thx for the comment :)

  • @megahurtz30

Yeah I saw that you did the rest down, which was good. But if you're playing anything metal, you should downpick.

I dont want to sound bossy or like a dick or a know-it-all (you've probably been playing longer than me)...but people will respect your playing and it will generally sound more consistent and uniform.

Hope I gave some constructive device and not sounded like a dick..haha

  • @mactavishc no prob. I downpick a lot, actually, check my other videos. What i really want is to do stuff like sweep picking :)) But don't obsess too much with the downpicking in metal, it's just a personal thing with each guitarist. Dave Mustaine uppicks some stuff and he is VERY respected, believe me ;)

  • All I have to say is.. AMAZING <3 :D

  • @MarkyTheMarc thank you :)
