:)) google it :'traditional uzbekh pakhlava' if you want to see central asian baklava. Also you can learn than 'baklava' is a proto-turkic name:) Stealing is not good, you hate Turks and you are playing their 'baglama' ,cooking their 'baklava'.At least dont say it is not Turkic origin because it is clear that Baklava is Turkic origin.

We can say baklava is Turkish or at least Central Asian origined:
''The history of baklava is not well documented. It has been claimed by many ethnic groups, but there is strong evidence that it is of Central Asian Turkic origin, with its current form being developed in the imperial kitchens of the Topkapı Palace.[2]''-Wikipedia

@Emmjanearapoglu baklava has existed longer than gaziantep, do you really think baklava is turkish. And to be honest with you, the turkish don't make good food it isn't tastefull when they make it. Everyone here says that turkish restaurants with kurdish owners are much better, because the kurdish people are way better to cook. Even turkish people says kurds are better..
-
@NothingWithoutALLAH Who the hell do you think you are.! first of all don't speak about the kurdish people, you don't have enough knowledge to speak the way you do. Who are you to claim that our don't have an identity. Nothing belongs to you, and especially not anatolia. We all know where your people originated from, dont make up lies. I don't think baklava is central asian turkic, prove it to me.! Without using wikipedia ;) I've never seen baklava in central asia.!!

A food anthropology book I read said that the term "Baklava" came from "baki halva", which is allegedly an Armenian term for a nut and phyllo pastry eaten during lent. (I don't speak Armenian.) The Ottoman empire was responsible for spreading this recipe around the Mediterranean (and spreading other elements of Mediterranean cuisine from elsewhere, including falafel, hummus, dolmas, etc), and over the course of time every culture that encountered balkava made their own variations.
ha ha ha. I love his voice and his accent!
