A challenger has arisen from the ranks of obscurity to attempt to wrest away a piece of "Hungry Hungry" Kevin's notoriety for himself.

Dan "Dan-P" Pister challenges "Hungry Hungry" to an eating challenge at Waterbury CT's Royal Buffet and Grill.

The challengers must eat 20 predetermined food items from the buffet within 2 hours. Purging results in disqualification.

The items on the list are as follows:

3. Mashed Potato w/ Cheese (1/4 lb)

8. Broccoli and Cheese (1/4 lb)
9. Calamari (1/2 lb)
10. Flouder (1/2 lb)
11. Steamed Dumplings (5)
12. Fried Crabmeat w/ Bacon (5)
13. Fried Zucchini (5)
14. Prime Rib (1 lb)
15. Strawberries (1/2 lb)
16. Pepper Steak (1/2 lb)
17. Stuffed Mushrooms (5)
18. Ice Cream Scoops (6)
19. Sushi (6)
