God thanks, there are not only idiots here on youtube. This is very creative. I'm still fighting with myself to build a (sorry, I only know the German expression for this) Roellchenhemmung or a foliot escapement.

wow! very simple design!

my eyes sting from its beauty

Never seen a verge escapement in this form before.
Yet it's so easy! Great job.

What is the size (maxl diameter) of the crowns? How many teeth has each crown?
Brilliant design, congratulations.

@Altavilla2003
Thanks.Tip to tip the wheels on that one were 100mm, with 10 teeth per wheel. The crown was ~20mm on the flat at the back.

@pcstru Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. I am working on a "traditional" verge foliot and I can see that your design is far better than those traditional escapements.
Hope you can post a video of the clock you made with this (new) kind of escapement".
Last question, please: 20 mm you mentioned is the gap between crowns? My english is not good, that is why I do not understad what you mean with "flat at the back".
Thanks again.

Yes - I've tried to post a link to a picture but that's not working.
Your clocks are amazing BTW!
