eye-journey-by-train - part 2

this was kind of a sketch for my longer movie 'drive' - made in 1994 at ETHZ Zurich.
It contains fragments of a trip by train from zurich to geneva starting at 5am - view from locomative-driver cabin.
I got a special authorisation by swiss railways SBB. Also a car-ride through West-Strasse and excerpt from Cure Video 'jumpin' someone else's train' is in it.
This was recorded first on betamax, mixed analog and here recorded from a VHS copy. The movie shos the tunnel view of such journey and also other perspectives,
details with different shutter speed, slow motion. these small sequences with the fragments of speed are most interesting for me.

Thank you for posting this special and impportant piece. Eye enjoy the way it simulates and stimulates the constant clackclickclackclickclackclick­ing in my head when I sit and walk. Eberything is a train to me and all the sidewalks and cracks are tracks to trace my way along like in your moovie and all sets of converging lines on our orthagonal Earth are tracks also, showing a way or direction for us if we want.
