  • I so enjoyed this video....those roads are my old stomping ground, lived there 9 years....miss it TERRIBLY....

  • @perth45 my pleasure. I hope now I have a proper camera to put a few more videos up of rides around Perth.

  • @BIWOZ look forward to seeing more of Perth now I've subscribed....is it possible you could do Marmion avenue between Scarborough and Quinns Rocks?....unfortunately its blighted with trafic lights.....!!!

  • @perth45 Hahaha ... I'll see what I can do for you. Might take a few days though. :-D

  • can anyone explain the whole drive on the left side of the road thing? i dont get it. seems like there would be more chance for wreck's

  • @julingy

Can't really see why driving on the left would make the least difference to the number of accidents. It came about because knights would ride on the left, leaving their sword hand free against someone coming the other way. America switched to the right-hand side purely because the English drove on the left.

  • i loved the roads,,,not a pot hole in site!!!

i miss the sunshine terribly, the weather in scotland is shite.....

i also miss the wonderful wildlife.

i had bandicoots and kangaroos eating out of my hand,,,amazing.

i used to live in heathridge as well, not far from burns beach.

  • Yes, I think we get too used to the beaches and the sky and the lifestyle we enjoy here. Mind you, I loved Scotland when we were there, too! Thanks for the comment.

  • Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I think we could do with some more twisty roads here ... like Scotland! But I don't think I could handle the long periods of cold and wet up there. But I sure did like Scotland. Shame we were in a car and not on the bike.

    Thanks for calling by.

  • i used to live in the vines, used to go to the swan valley and whiteman park regularly.

it was ok,personally i could'nt wait to get back to scotland,5yrs in perth was more than i could take...
