My friend, Janet Liang, was a UCLA student who was diagnosed with leukemia right as she was about to graduate. After a year of chemo and several complications, Janet beat leukemia without a transplant.
Unfortunately, I recently received word that Janet is no longer in remission. Her leukemia is back, she will need a marrow donor. On December 26th, Janet checked back into the hospital for another round of chemo.
It's a new year and a time to help one another out. Please consider joining the Bone Marrow Registry. Registering to be bone marrow donor is simple, easy and safe -- all you have to do is swab your cheek with a q-tip

There's a bone marrow drive happening today (Feb 4th) until 4PM in Sacramento at the corner of Florin Rd & Stockton Blvd. It's inside the Carnival/Asian Festival at booth #31 to your left. Come support the AADP crew!

I'm crying... I've never met her, but I feel like I've made a best friend after watching her plea. I think about her everyday.. I've told all my friends about her.
If I were 18..if I were just ONE year older.. I'd be a donor already by now.
