At a recent luncheon hosted by InterAction, The Future of Foreign Aid, Center for Global Development senior fellow Steve Radelet discusses ways the next administration can improve U.S. foreign aid. Congresswoman McCollum (D-MN), Center for American Progress senior fellow Gayle Smith, and Glover Park Group founding partner Joe Lockhart joined Radelet in calling for the next president to institute a cabinet-level department of development.
WHY GIVE MONEY TO ANY COUNTRY ?-THE MONEY IS MOSTLY KEPT BY RATS IN THE FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS.-IF THE U.S. STOPPED GIVING ANY MONEY TO FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS-THEN THEY COULD PAY OFF THE NATIONAL DEBT

I do agree with both of you, but to be fair to these people that were there we were not there and so not know where this money went. We also did not see the entire convention, and therefore can not judge them.

I do very much agree. it's just I believe that if we do this, I believe that if we do that, but quite frankly, I have never heard of any of these people doing anything.

look to those people!!...sitting in seven starts hotels and eating shrimps.... can you believe that they think about the global development of the humanity?
it would be much better if they send the money that allocated for this conference to feed people in Africa.
