!!!LION TIGER vs Giraffe - WATCH THIS VIDEO TO SEE THE BRUTAL BATTLE!!!
We recently did a free tour for a group of veterans from our local V.A. hospital. Since a number of our own members are former military it is always a meaningful experience. We decided to make a different form of enrichment to give to Cameron and Zabu our male lion and white tiger that live in the same enclosure!
The cardboard giraffe/gazelle was filled with small chunks of red meat to entice the big cats into action! Cameron was first on scene and didn't seem interested so Zabu had the enrichment all to herself.
The tour group, staff and volunteers enjoyed watching her antics and we're sure Zabu enjoyed the snack and toy!

@trashyourplace Hi, they were living together at a roadside zoo in New England that closed down and they needed a home. So we knew they got along well with each other and they have both been fixed to prevent them from breeding, thanks for watching! :)

@BigCatRescue then how come your lion still has its mane? Ive heard no "jewels"=no mane. did they find a way to keep both lions mane and the lions family jewels but remove their re-productivity?/ you said both fixed were they broken?(joke)

@SnowingNapalm That's a good question, Cameron the male lion wasn't neutered he had a vasectomy so his mane didn't fall out :)
