@jocky102 OK, first have you ever heard of recessed grout? If you put a light on ANY recessed grout job you are going to have shadowlines. What you need to look for is unevenness in the shadows (Other than camera angle that is) there were a few of these on this job but not many and totally acceptable. BTW most tumbled travertine jobs are recessed grout lines.
you can get as close as you want with the camera to TRY and show us a great job..... BUT.... if you see a shadow on a grout line it means it is not level with the tile above, so i see LOTS of shadows= although it looks good its not level, true or flat, a good grouting job can make a shit tiling job look good, BUT a bad grouting job can make a superb tilng job look bad...... as in this case.
