This series of pastels by Victoria Taylor-Gore - http://www.victoriataylorgore.com - represents an imaginative journey down the Route 66 of the 1940's through the 1960's.
Thanks so much, Randy...this is the nicest comment anyone's ever made about my work:) I've missed your comments...how's it going? I'll let you know when I get started on more videos (this is an old one that I just changed the music)...Vicky
Nice. Your sense and handling of the media is perfectly appropriate to its subject, and the composition is immaculate, but more than that, which is the most obvious, is that you have captured a sense of emptiness, yet imbued with meaning, almost frighteningly close to whom I know is your hero, Georgio De Chirico.
And as a material-specific kind of guy, I'm really impressed by your precision and understanding of pastel. It isn't just color, it's the dry powder that I see in your work.
@inkey2 Thank you so much - really means a lot to me : ) Vicky

love this art.....you took over where Edward Hopper stopped. If Hopper were still alive......this is how he'd probably be painting
