i bought this dvd and glad i did! Quenia is a friendly & sweet teacher. i am going to order her others too. it's so much fun b/c her way of teaching is easy to understand.

I wish she'll come out with a follow-up dvd to this.

Your comment made things look too simple and makes me suppose that you don't know how different the "international samba" (aka "ballroom samba") is from "brazilian samba".

Also, "brazilian samba" is a umbrella term for a wide variety of brazilian dances which share a common root on the african dance "Semba". For instance, Brazil does have a "ballroom samba" of it's own: it's called "Gafieira" and already existed many decades before "international samba" was created by the french.
