ZomboMania: The History Of The Zombie Movie #23

Part 23 Shows George A. Romero's fantastic 2005 Land Of The Dead. With cameos from legendary Special Effects meistro Tom Savini, and Shaun Of The Dead star Simon Pegg and director Edgar Wright. Also showing the 'sequel' to George Romero's Day Of The Dead, 'Day Of The Dead 2: Contagium'. Nowhere near as good as Romeros. And the final chapters (so far) in The Return Of The Living Dead series, 'Necropolis' and 'Rave To The Grave'. I decided to include Tarman's hitchiking sequence at the end of Rave To The Grave, as i love it so much. It's Hilarious.

I really hate how people bash on Land of the Dead because of the zombie beginning to learn, they were people of the living once. Also the ending, there was a point to it. I know it looks pointless cause they own like the whole world to go, but there was point to it. I just can't see an ending where he just blows them up. George Romero Dead movies haven't been really about the zombies, but on how people communiacte with each other in this type of situation. "Mankind's Only Enemy It's Itself."
