@artistmac i love the unmarked tahoes. my eyes are glued at the site of them.

I prefer Police SUV's over any Crown vic , or Impala for some reason :P

@artistmac Haha, Very True. The Tahoe isn't my favourite Vehicle. I'd rather the Crown Vic, A Charger or an E7... I work for the county, I remember when I was rolling code 3 Down a highway, A city unit cam right up on me going about 125 and almost took me out. I braked and he Rolled it, Right into a ditch. Luckily he wasn't seriously injured. On another note atleast help wasnt far away.
i remember that i live 4 blocks away from that bank i go there all the time

@chicagoteen1 99% of the time, it's your average retail block. All it takes is one nutcase who doesn't get the concept of "funds unavailable until check clears".

Crown Vic proven? You obviously don't know anything about police vehicles. Tahoe's are much better vehicles, although 2x-3x more expensive. Not only do they have a longer service life, easier on maintenance, better visibility, faster, and more room, they have been lowered several inches to reduce the chance of a roll over. Chevrolet says you can take the 2x4 Tahoe on a pursuit. The city here switched from Crown Vic's to Tahoe's(30+) and have been involve in several pursuits will no ill effects.

@chechnya Glad they've worked where you are. The police here have already had a high-speed rollover with a Tahoe, where the officer was nearly paralyzed. If the Tahoe has to be lowered for police duty, that means it was too top-heavy to begin with. And yes, the Crown Vic is proven. Almost 30 years of service not good enough for you?

@artistmac I drive one daily. I have been in several Pursuits and yet I have not had one accident. Can't say so much for our Tahoes and Suburbans....

@LCESstudios Unfortunately, now that the Crown Vic is being discontinued, I'm seeing more police Tahoes than ever in Chicago. They've even got plainclothes ones, although a stripped gray Tahoe lowered to 4 inches off the ground, with license plates front and rear that say "Chicago Police", doesn't blend in too well;)
