Very informative, entertaining and down to earth for us mortals. Your presentation is excellent and I will subscribing and watching for more.

I do like your style! I started being a machinist in 1971, & had to switch carrier fields in '75, to have a job. I grew-up in a machine shop, so I have stayed up on my learnin'. I have designed tools, for one of the leading US railroads, for the last 37 years. 'Done lots of welding, cutting, & grinding, but I still make some parts on my Dad's South Bend 9" swing lathe. I very much appreciate you and your videos! You've got just enough of showmanship, that makes you a natural! Where's your home?

Excellent video but it is such a shame I can't get the Taper Mate over here in the UK. It would cost about fifty dollars to have one sent here. I have a suggestion though, for another vid. How about showing how the reducers work. It is not very clear if they reduce down or up and an instruction vid would help. Even though I know how they work now, I'm sure some might not and I like watching your vids anyway. Thanks.

Good to see your workshop is as messy as mine. Thanks for the video, Cap'n, now I know exactly what a morse taper is and does. Paul.
