It never ceases to amaze me that anyone who truly loves this band and understands what they are all about could possibly exhibit such negativity towards anyone. The simple fact is that Jerry Garcia died in 1995, and if everything he represented is not going to die with him, then it's because of Further, Dark Star Orchestra and everyone who loves Jerry's work enough to keep his legacy alive online. It doesn't matter if you are 7 or 77. If you love this band, you are my brother or sister.

I love this whole show, but to say that the rest of the band are a bunch of clowns is comical in its self. JERRY himself even said that when "Pig Pen" died so did the Grateful Dead, and Bobby is a revolutionary Rhythm Guitar Player and Phil is literally the most musically knowledgeable in the ENTIRE band hands down. He literally had perfect pitch. So great video, but whoever wrote this description has a their head else where than on their shoulders.

A friend and I cornered Jerry at Fillmore one night and talked with him for 45 minutes about nothing but music, and their music mostly. I was 16 or 17, in a band and a Dead Head. He schooled us the entire time. Gave of himself freely, willingly, and happily. It is to this day one of the best experiences of my life.

Jerry didn't die of a heart attack. He gave so much of his that he ran out of enough for him.

There is no room for hate in Grateful Dead Land. Embrace them or pay no attention.

What an asinine description. Jerry was dead by the time I was 7. I'm so glad that the remaining members are still touring, even for us youngin's sake. Glad they are still around. I'm sad that I will never really experience Jerry, thank god for YouTube. Don't be so selfish. Be glad they're still bringing magic to all generations.
