Bright Spots: Stories from the Healthy Communities Coalition

"Bright Spots" highlights the Policy, Systems and Environmental Change strategy being used by the Healthy Communities Coalition of Windham County (VT). It features four "bright spots"--three organizations and one community that have created significant changes as a result of participating in HCC's Assessment & Planning processes. HCC, an initiative of Meeting Waters YMCA, is part of Pioneering Healthier Communities--a partnership between YMCA of the USA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Local funding in support of HCC came from the Holt Fund and donations to Meeting Waters YMCA's Community Support Campaign.
