  • CHECK OUT ZOE JAKES..for moder tribal belly dancing

  • ima beginner..and i can pull that off...and probably more

  • that was so crap!

  • BD is from Egypt originally, but lots of countries have been doing it for centuries now.

  • Wherever belly dance is from... Arabs are the best at it. End of story! LOL.

  • ps. its a pitty because she IS a good dancer

  • Theres no point is arguing where BD originated from. Personally, I find the outcome puzzeling. She starts off with a bollywood like song and dance so I figure there is something wrong with the costume, but then she starts bellydancing so now i think the music is all wrong... if she wanted the audience not to get mixed up and do some fusion, she probably should have not worn a typical bd dress and used some conteporary fusion arab/indian music.

  • There are a lot of moves in bellydance that quite possibly originate from India, for example snake arms, head slides, even some of the different types of spins. Indian dance takes so many forms. There are some dances that may not use hips but there are many Indian dances that actually DO use the hips.

  • Belly danceing comes from arabia the indians don´t belly dance, they dance diverent.

They don´t dance with their hips.

  • "MORON"?

huh...It's so cool that everyone knows exactly where and when belly dance originated!

    Anyway, I like her dancing!
