@djdecker543 Lower overall costs. Even if you buy from a pound lifetime upkeep costs for a dog (food, medical care, etc) can reach into the thousands of dollars.

Exactly, it has to be programed by a person. Real dogs do not need programing therefore they have actual intelligence.

Robots are freaking awesome, but will never take the place of real living things.

@retsnom92 Wootie I wasn't told of this reply D: Anywho AI is nothing more than machines programmed by a PERSON thought you will find yourself wrong in the future. A robot dog COULD be programmed like a real dog(if only it looked real) , but that cannot happen at the moment i suppose but maybe later on in the future :p

Though computers are fast, they are dumb in every way. AI is nothing more than a mask that fools you into thinking its intelligent. Real dogs will always do allot more then robots because the dogs brain is far more complex then any hardware a human can build.

Of course an AI dog is more intelligent, the only flaws it has, is that it does not have a soul, it does not have the feel we normally have with a real dog, but other than that, it is better than a real one.
