You obviously have no idea what he means by fighting sin @Strefanasha. What do you think repenting is? Your equating his words to some sort of works and you have missed the message completely. What do you think Paul meant in Romans 8 when he instructed to mortify the deeds of the flesh. Seems like you have a problem more with Mr. Piper then the truth.
