This is my adaption to Village Haunts Spider Wiper. Tracys creation has to be one of the coolest halloween props Ive seen in a long time. half the hits to his video must be from me trying to see how he built it. I tried to duplicate his drive mechanism, but failed and instead altered it with what you see. Also note the Drive for the wheels. Eventually this will be completely RC wireless controlled. Im hoping to chase kids down the street with it.

  • No, I don't actually charge rental. That was misleading. Its for a local Non-Profit foundation raising funds for our local school district. So I let all this stuff out for free. Actually all my stuff has been on long term loan to them as long as they run their haunted attraction.

This year I have built, and am adding 3 axis skulls to the attraction. Its 12 units with a combined total of 64 servos running on 2 SSC-32 Boards, 1 Parallel relay board, 1 cowlaciouse board and Brookshire VSA 4.0.

  • Thanks everyone for the comments. it was originally built for a home haunt. and for a few years only saw limited duty cycles. Basically when someone would come and look at it, then we would trigger it with a remote switch.

Well, last halloween I used it on loan to a community fundraising Haunted House called Haunted High ( hauntedschool . org ) and it ran constantly. Over the course of the event it saw 40 hours of run time. we had to rebuild it twice. Next gen will be more heavy duty.
