@KinetG Probably because in the Anime, Kirby is a baby warrior, like they made to where he was supposed to be in Space, "hibernating" for 200 years so he could "mature" and become a strong warrior, but his ship crashed prematurely, therefor Kirby is "Premature" himself. He acts like a 3 year old in the show and I guess that persona sort of stuck with him, which is cute, don't get me wrong. But Before the anime came out, I don't think Kirby was supposed to be a baby.

90's Kirby was so much funnier and livelier. I grew up with him, and seeing Japanese commericals like this makes me wonder what kind of Anime we would've gotten instead had they made one right after Adventure was released.
I feel HAL currently just focuses on how cute Kirby is, which don't get me wrong, is what he's all about. But there's a definate, unmistakable difference between his demeanor before and after the anime came out.
Like, why is Kirby so dimwitted/impulsive all of a sudden?
