There are four equations that you need to know
Slope, slope point intercept, standard form and point slope form

Slope is y2-y1 over x2-x1
This is the same as rise over run

Rise over run, rise over run

Slope intercept uses pieces of slope and slope intercept
The equation is y=mx+b
You can always find this by solving for y
M is always the slope [and b is the y intercept]

Standard Form is ax+by=c

There are several steps you need to know:
X must always be positive
Fractions are no good. Multiply by the LCD
Simplify, simplify.

Point slope form is y-y1=m times the quantity of x-x1
This is the, final equastion it only uses one point
