  • i think that it sounds different (norteño and mariachi) because norteños uses acordeon and bass.... instead of a mariachi band that uses violins and trumpets ... also theres a direct connection between european polk music and norteño music .... polk music was introduced in mexico in the XIX century by europeans .... saludos ¡¡¡
