Registered to Vote?
She asked me if I was registered to vote
She asked me if I was registered to vote
And I smiled with my eyes and I chuckled inside because it kind of sounded like a joke
Nope! Im still waiting for the candidates to register and I hope that one day they will
And if you will pardon me, this conversation right now is beyond the scope of my watch.
Yes, my watch has a scope, because sometimes when I wait and watch for God,
It seems the time is so far away that day when He returns
But actually it could be today because although its so far away, He does travel fast
In fact, He travels so fast that even the concept of His speedometer is beyond our grasp, because He almost travels faster than the speed of light, because He is
And the only reason I said almost is because He gives me the knowledge to understand and believe that He is Light
And He cant travel faster than Himself
But He can travel faster than our miscalculated predictions of how fast light can travel
The only thing weve ever seen is how fast light can paddle
Metaphorically speaking
Weve never seen Light even come close to speeding
Guinness records will be shattered when His feet hit the gravel
So even my scope will be obsolete when Light begins speeding on that day when Hes needing to make it here in time to keep us from losing the battle
We think three-dimensional color is as good as it gets, but this is really just a shadow
She asked me if I was registered to vote (and I laughed)
How shallow
She told me that I only had two options and surely I could choose one
Then she tried to convince me that I was worse if I chose none
She told me that I had a Biblical obligation to choose one!
Then she cited the scripture when Pontius Pilate brought Jesus and Barabbas and told the people to choose one
Listen to me now closely as if I was holding a gun, because what I hold is more powerful than a gun.
Bullets can only blast you to the ground, but these words? These words can blast you to the sun.
She told me that I had an obligation to vote for one
She was waiting until November, but I was already done
And the candidates she was speaking of were hypocrites and had not even voted for one Jesus or Barabbas, the living water or a chalice, Heavens or Hells Palace
And if the political candidates had voted for a saviour, they locked up their ballots, buried them deep in the ground like corpses they swore silence.
Buried them just like the guilty servant of Matthew 25:25 who buried his Lords talent Because he was afraid it would be too much of a challenge
So the Lord called him wicked and slothful.
Mr. Candidate, what hast thou done with thy ballot?
(silence)
She told me I MUST register to vote
And so she appeared a little unbalanced
Although she in her mind was innocent, she was a hypocrite
And the candidates she would compel me to vote for were neither innocent of being hypocrites, because they themselves refused to vote and campaign for the omnipotent
That race is for eternity.
This race is for a time, which is far less imminent
So what I do in November is simply a reflection of what they did in September
They withdrew
They refused to cast their ballots for Jesus or Barabbas
Now what about you?

tell me about it

I feel as though all politicians, are just people, and people are flawed! I do not adhere to all of this hype associated with Barak Obama, or any other person for that matter. I believe that God's authority transcends all other authority!

He does. In fact, He is the authority.

In truth, though God did make that happen, those people were doing the will of God! Has they chosen Jesus would there have been a prophecy fullfilled?

Matthew 18:7 says "Woe unto the world because of offences! For it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!"
