So i did what you said. I edited the palette of a level that doesn't have a custom palette. It worked.
Thank god i had a .txt somewhere where all the SNES RGB values were written, so the palette is the exact same. Also I had to use a tool to "reverse converte" those SNES RGB to Windows RGB... but there is one (see the link)
