@coolwafferman I don't think the issue is with Drew Carey... I think the production values of the show progressively sank, coupled with the firings of nearly everyone that had been associated with the show since the 70s, and a string of incompetent directors and contestant coordinators. If you get people in there who KNOW how the show should be run, it would be immensely better... :)

I truly believe that more if not ALL of the CBS and syndicated versions of TPIR on disc. We can control these eps in our own homes. Barker then will have no say in which ones can be shown. Especially the ones with furs.

@269848 I haven't watched a complete episode of TPIR since 2007. I actually gave a Drew Carey a shot, but I couldn't watch him. He was so bad. I agree they should of just ended the show after Bob Barker left.

@coolwafferman Amen! Nowadays I have to wonder why the models wear mics. Barker's version was soooo much fun to watch. IMHO, CBS should've said bye bye when Bob retired.
