One reason the art is amazing because the animals had to be observed and memorized long before the artist could paint them. They couldn't bring the animals into the cave for reference.

I was looking through the spotlighted videos and just seeing shit shit shit shit shit shit, then I saw THIS video, and my faith in youtube was restored.
