The Ad Hominem Fallacy

One thing to remember about the ad hominem is that merely insulting someone doesn't make you guilty of this fallacy. Saying "you're an idiot" may be rude, but it doesn't commit a fallacy unless the implication is that we should reject your argument because you're an idiot, and only because you're an idiot. And even then there can be exceptions (see the video).

(2) Dembski would say that because he’s religious.

Therefore:

(3) Modern biology doesn’t support intelligent design.
