Objective? How is he necessarily not objective? What about his play wasn't "objectively" significantly stronger than everyone else's? He was put on a tribe where the males were weak-minded and unathletic, and the girls who were strong enough challenged him early on and had to leave. He was the only significant reason his tribe ultimately won over. He wasn't a jerk, either, in that first season.
