@ECWnWWF Ric Flair has really held world titles 26 times, but wrestling history doesn't recognize a lot of the short times he'd drop a belt in Puerto Rico or another country, then win it back days later. Ric Flair's title reigns combined actually total over 12 years. Bruno was great, but he wrestled in a different time when long title reigns weren't as uncommon, Bob Backlund had a very long reign not long after Bruno as well. Cable TV kind of quickened the pace of title progression in the 80s.
