This might be the most poignant and understated song about Viet Nam of all songs to speak to that war. Not until the very end do we get it that all the boys who went over to fight were living their summer side, soon to be fall, and then winter. Not an anti-war song in the conventional sense, just a song about how life is better without war...

One of the best and most talented live bands EVER. Got to see them in Bristol TN 2010, will miss Terry Clements, one of my favorite top 5 guitarists (and I'm a hard rock fan)!

A song so special that Red Shea is quietly singing it to himself, even though he's no doubt heard a hundred times before. Just because it gets to him too...

Gord rarely has back-up singers. In fact, I have never seen any at his concerts - just the guys in the band sometimes contributing to the chorus of a song. Again, thanks for posting these. I'm enjoying the trip in the way-back machine!
What a fantastic performance! No drums, no back-up singers ... just the three of them, and they top the album version i think ... wow!
