Automatic transmission rebuild

this winter i rebuilt my automatic transmission in my 1986 Toyota 4runner. i just put this slide show together of the rebuild, oh and i also sent and got my torque converter rebuilt.

BTW right now my truck is open diffs and IFS and it needs a new trans computer so thats why it's not doing to much. Don't forget to rate! and subscribe!

I liked the video. I'm very curious if you think you could take out a transmission using floor jacks. I've got a 2001 Lexus RX300 (that's the smaller 4wd suv). Did you use a shop manual? Did you take notes? I'm on a very tight budget, but I need this car fixed. I bought the car knowing the seller said it had transmission problems (wouldn't drive for very long and, then, would stop) -> changed fluid/filter solved for 6 months. Now frozen up until "wrenched" from tow truck. Now moves &broke

i like when you got to take t case apart to get to the trans, good desigh, not really, most commen failor on this unit is the t case direct drum bushing failure leading to clutch failure, nice vid thanks
