VE Commodore Omega V6 with Lukey Straight Thru muffler

Reving a Holden Commodore Omega V6 with a Lukey Straight Thru muffler installed. Only changed rear muffler all pipe from rear axle to motor is original.

HI shamous69 I have a Omega 2007 I dont want extra power or too loud just a nicer sounding note.

Super cheap Auto quoted me $150 for Lukey sports rear muffler and plan to buy one. I have important question for you does it DRONE as I dont want a droning sound as I cruise on the freeways. Thanks

@Steveyad64 If you just bolt on a lukey rear muffler only then you won't have any drone.. I have also removed the centre muffler and replaced it with straight piping and it drones a little when it's hot & it does sound tinny when cold. Sounds like a good deal.

@scottdeverard With the chrome tip it was $230 fitted, the tip cost $65, so a pretty cheap and worth while mod i reckon!

@TUFGMH Standard system, just unbolted the rear muffler and bolted lukey on.. two pipes from engine into front muffler then one pipe back (for now)

its a v6 not a v8 alloytec slap on some pacemakers will sound mint just upgraded my ve berlina with 2.5 all the way through will high flow cat sounds mean and tuff

Hi Guys fitted my muffler yesterday took 20 mins and it sounds great, just what i was looking for, not too loud but a nice sound when you put your foot down. Purchached a 2.5" stainless steel tip from Super Cheap for $19.00 which adds a nice touch.

Recommended!!

PS all you need is a 15mm socket, and you dont even need to jack the car up.

hi there, just put one on my VE, there is no droning, you only really hear it when you plant it, or at low revs.
