There are lots of vocal effects that are utilized on just about every major label recording, but I really think he sounds pretty spot on for such a rough recording of a live concert.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I've read other comments on other live vids, and apparently, they digitally alter his voice for studio recordings cuz he has a poblem reaching high notes and other things.
I'm about 80% sure about this, but i'm sure it's something along those lines.
