Burton is a big brand but I'm happy with my K2 board. I don't care what anyone else says about what brand being better than the other. My board has been very reliable and serves me well

It's cool to hate on Burton because they're the big evil corporation oh no!!! People forget that if it weren't for Burton, snowboarding would still just be a bunch of surf bums pissing off skiers with crap they put together in their parents' garages. It might be true that they're more business than pleasure now and will tend to rely on their brand power rather than on financially risky innovations, but that comes with being a big company, and we need a big one to market the sport to new people.
