  • @jdizzy01 Respects to you dad, that's pretty awesome as a career.

But yea, I wouldn't rule it out as "improper" either. I use the same grip, I did fine. But I'm always down to try new things.

  • its one thing to keep your arm straight but if you lock your arm with a real gun your gonna fuck ur shit up

  • the comenator is gay man!!

  • number one rule of any combat game is fitness

  • Is this filmed in Hong Kong?

  • @jdizzy01 I thought so at first, but my accuracy improved a lot better since then because of it. One of my buddies who became a local cop told me his department just started teaching them to shoot thumbs forward. You just get a more complete grip on the gun.

  • @Excalibur01 all good. I try thumbs forward and it feels... awkward. the only time ive done it was when we threw an extended mag in our G23, really had no choice then lmao

  • @jdizzy01 Nothing against you either. I had a few buddies who are Marines and they taught me how they shoot pistols and they now all use Thumbs forward grip. The cup and saucer might have been common practice but it is considered "outdated" by a lot of people. The current generation of LE and military do not use that stance

  • @Excalibur01 im not arguing the stance of law enforcement officer, i was simply stating the C&S works on smaller calibers too. in the end its a matter of preference, i was trained by a military officer in pistol shooting and was taught cup and saucer. it works for me and in the end, thats what matters. both stances are acceptable

  • @jdizzy01 I have never seen an LE department that promotes the cup nowadays. They trained with the thumbs forward, which is highly more effective. The weak hand ends up providing no support shot to shot, making it more difficult to recover sight alignment for succeeding shots. Also, this grip will increase the perception of recoil because the gun will vigorously recoil away from the support of the strong hand, making it objectionable to handle.
