  • i actually bought Finger Print and it is not working out. It is showing my printers but they will not print. is i download Finger Print do i still have to go through the cmd process?

  • @turningonthescrew99 No it should just work. Perhaps you didn't install Bonjour, or a firewall is blocking it?

  • every time i try to download the zip file from megaupload. the files dont unzip. Am i doing something wrong

  • @turningonthescrew99 This method actually no longer works. The simple way is to download FingerPrint which makes all of this easy and is currently the only way to get AirPrint to work without having an actual AirPrint compatible printer.

  • Thanks man 

  • @motabbirh Welcome!

  • PERFECT!!!

To make it work I needed to:

    **Run CMD as Admin

**Manually enable AirPrint service after executing command

**Add AirPrint.exe to Windows Firewall white-list.

I used it to wirelessly print a beautiful PDF file attached to an email I recieved to my semi old HP Officejet 5610 plugged into my Windows 7 machine.

  • I have Win XP SP3 w/ Dell 1230c. Video worked perfect. Test print worked perfect. Thanks!

  • In CMD.exe I put the code in from notepad and it says access denied! How do I get past?

  • @bubby2262 To pause the video, hit the PAUSE button! ;)

  • You talk way to fast with little explanation! Sorry but not much help! Hard to follow you!!!

  • I like your video Stone, even though I have tried EVERYTHING to get this working. I had success using the AirActivator on my Mac, but I'm stuck on the Windows machine. Has Apple done something to make the commands unexecutable? Or am I missing something? Anyone else having same frustrations? Commands not completing & giving error messages. I've tried both the manual and automatic install options. Tnanks, BetterEdit-dot-com. I'm SO looking forward to being able to print from my iPhone!
