You know if you ever take a too extreme shortcut to backtrack you don't retire but if you take a too extreme shortcut to get way ahead you retire? Here you take a too extreme shortcut to backtrack and then you retire...no not really. The machine is still drivable even though you retire. I was able to keep driving on the track despite the fact I retired. In this video I hit the wall before I jumped. You don't have to, but it just turned out that way because recording this video caused my view to be a little lagged, causing my judgement to be a little off.

i've done that before. I used two players so the other one could see where the "retired" player went and i tried crossing the finish line. it was cool.
