Enya - May It Be (violin cover) featuring Hong Kong Ma On Shan country park

A little behind my friend Larry Beekman who plays so many Enya's music, and also Enya's birthday on 17th May. This is a violin cover of the movie theme song from "Lord of The Rings", filmed in the beautiful mountainous landscape of New Zealand. This video however featured the breath-taking landscape of Hong Kong Ma On Shan country park, overviewing places like Sai Kung and Three Fathom Cove.

Playing at 700m above sea level, this video was recently filmed with the violin music recorded in early 2010 and the MIDI parts recorded back in 2001. Original video clips featured the geological wonders of Sai Kung volcanic terrain made back in 2010 were lost. Viewers can see part of Sai Kung in the background of this high altitude view.

The 3-hour upward journey to the top of Ma On Shan was treacherous with steep slopes and thick vegetations. Entire track was 16km took 7 hours to complete. Nothing compared to the journey across Middle Earth taken by the Fellowship of the Rings.

I love this song as much as I love "The Lord of the rings" movie, and I'm totally sure that your version is the best from all youtube's violin covers of this song. Your violin sounds so clear and perfect. I could listen to that for all day long. Your the best! Thank you for your video.

Is the tree on the hill where Jennifer Jones and William Holden played "A Many Splendored Thing ", still there ? I wish I could have some photos of that hill and that tree.
